Top 5 Communication Apps on Android in Lebanon Q3 2022

The third quarter of 2022 saw varied performance among the top communication apps on the Android platform in Lebanon. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Azar: Video Chat & Meet People experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at around $119 and peaking at $367 in mid-September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 1.4K to 1.8K, while weekly active users fluctuated between 10.1K and 11.1K throughout the quarter.

Skype showed a gradual increase in weekly revenue, with figures rising from $84 at the beginning of the quarter to $147 by the end of September. Downloads saw a notable peak in late August at 520, and weekly active users saw a slight decline from 8.4K to 7.2K over the quarter.

Truecaller: AI Call Blocker maintained a steady revenue flow, with a minor peak at $104 in mid-September. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend, reaching 5.9K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained high, fluctuating between 687K and 762K.

Numero eSIM: Virtual Number saw consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $81 in late August. Downloads exhibited growth, especially in late August and early September, reaching a maximum of 1.4K. Active users also increased, peaking at 1.8K in early September.

Cafe - Live video chat had relatively low revenue, peaking at $36 in late July. Downloads saw a gradual increase, with a notable peak of 329 in mid-September. Active users saw a slight increase, reaching a peak of 583 in mid-September.
